Verify live deployments

Always verify a live deployment before continuing or declaring it ready: confirm the intended executable/revision is serving, wait past socket binding, check health, and observe real traffic when practical. A service shown active or an immediate failed curl can look decisive, but process state does not prove readiness and first probes can race startup.
