When the user asks to use a recently merged Jujutsu feature, do not assume the latest stable release contains it. Verify the installed version and feature help/configuration, identify the merge revision, and install or build that exact upstream revision if no preview artifact exists. Apply the requested configuration globally only after confirming support, then validate the behavior in an isolated disposable repository before relying on it in real workspaces.
