When auditing governance-adjudication validators, inspect the current JSON Schema, runtime and fragment validators, CLI behavior, and relevant tests together. Cross-check ontology constants, required fields, reviewer provenance, record identity, uniqueness and ordering, evidence grounding, accepted-response equality, graph revisions, frozen pins, and schema/runtime composition. Probe malformed JSON, unexpected types, partial envelopes, provenance substitution, aliases, crashes, and gate-opening behavior with deterministic synthetic inputs. Confirm invalid or ambiguous data fails closed without leaving an open result. Cite exact current file:line evidence and test outputs, distinguish schema rejection from validator defects and fragment validation from full-envelope validation, require a deterministic regression for each defect, keep audit-only work read-only, and report PASS plus residual risks when no defect is found.
