Chose same-length placeholder UUID replacement with injectDebugId(..., { skipSnippet: true }) over Sentry’s injected IIFE because the snippet breaks mixed ESM/CJS output and changing byte positions invalidates source-map coordinates. instrument.ts registers __SENTRY_DEBUG_ID__; injection/replacement/upload failures remain nonfatal, and the source map is deleted only after successful upload so failed or skipped uploads remain retryable.
