Chose an explicit downstream-body-completed signal over generic stream settlement or terminal-event observation because settlement also covers cancellation and read errors, while a terminal frame can arrive before EOF. Recall persistence may commit only after the outer response wrapper observes reader.done; cancellation, timeout, abort, or read failure must roll back staged recall-store, temporal, session, and LTM-transfer effects.
